Matting and Framing

 One of the best parts about conserving an item is getting to show it off. Museum grade matting allows items to go back in an existing frame or a new frame can be procured, of course with UV filtering glass, to best display the item.

Paper Item, Single Mat

This item was repaired and then matted in museum grade archival board to safely store it with like-sized items in an archival box. The support board has a cutout to display the writing on the back of the document.
